Key Legislative Changes
Simplification of Pharmacy Licensing in Rural Areas
Amendments have been introduced to the Law “On Pharmaceutical Activity,” establishing unified licensing conditions for rural pharmacies, regardless of whether they receive state support. This will create equal and non-discriminatory conditions for entrepreneurs opening pharmacies in villages.

New Leasing Rules for Banks
According to amendments to the Enforcement Code of the Republic of Moldova, banks have been included in the list of lessors. Now, a leasing contract will have the force of an enforceable document, simplifying the debt recovery process.
Extension of the Validity of the Sanitary Certificate
The validity period of the sanitary certificate has been extended from one year to three years, regardless of whether the product is imported or not. Some restrictions on wholesale trade have also been lifted.
Simplification of Outdoor Advertising Rules
- Posters with an area of less than 3 m² will no longer require a special permit.
- For other types of outdoor advertising, the validity period of permits has been extended from one year to five years.
Accelerated Business Liquidation Procedure
Voluntary business liquidation will now take only 24 hours instead of three working days.
